New Year, New You!
This is a great time of year to evaluate your health and
your health goals. Are you on track with where you want to be? Did you
start last year good but get off track? Did you do good last year but now
you are ready to take it to the next level?
Be honest with yourself. Decide where you are and where you want to be.
Write out your health goals for this coming year. Also write out what you
need to do to accomplish your goal. By writing these down you will hold
yourself more accountable.
Here are a few examples of health goals that you can work towards:
Losing weight
Competing in a race
Eliminating smoking or alcohol
Getting more physically fit
Getting off your medications
Improving the health of you family
If you are on track with where you want to be great keep
up the good work.
If you got off track last year re-dedicate yourself to getting back on
track and commit to yourself that you will keep it up this year.
If last year was good and you are ready to take it up a step, great.
Decide what you would like to accomplish and commit to doing what it takes
to get there.
Just remember that what you did in the past good or bad, is the past, and
what you do today is what matters.
There is no day like today to start.
