Symptoms or Expressing Health?
Coughing, Sneezing, Runny Nose, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Fever, Rash, Pain,
Swelling and Tired all the time. That’s a nasty list of symptoms right? Or
is a list of very normal parts of our bodies healing process.
Coughing, Sneezing, Runny Nose, Vomiting & Diarrhea are all ways that the
body gets rid of “germs” or toxins by getting them out of the body.
Vomiting & Diarrhea- if you ingest bad food the normal reaction by the body
is to get the food out as quickly as possible, to minimize the potential
exposure to “germs” or toxins.
Fever- increasing the body temperature slows the bacteria so white blood
cells can kill them easier.
Rash- skin is our largest organ; therefore, rashes are a very common way for
our body to expel toxins. Especially in areas we sweat the most such as: arm
pits, elbows, groin, knees & feet.
Pain and Swelling- when an area is injured it will swell and hurt. The
swelling is to stabilize the area so it can’t get hurt as easily and the
pain is so you slow down and don’t use it as much. Both of these will
subside as the area heals.
Tired the body heals the most when we are at rest. Therefore, the more you
sleep the faster your body will heal.
Any time the body does not have these normal responses the body will not
heal as quickly and sometimes not at all, if the body does not completely
heal it can harbor it as systemic illnesses later such as immune disorders
or cancer. Therefore, taking medications to suppress the healthy reactions
will delay the body’s healing.
I bet the last time you had any of the above you thought your body was mad
at you. Now you know that your body was doing its job and trying to get you
back to full speed as quickly as possible.
