Cancer Sticks and I don’t mean Cigarettes

Would you like fries with that? Just say NO!

We all know fried foods are bad. What makes fried so bad?

The cooking or heating of most fats or oils produces large amounts of free radicals in the body. These free radicals are extremely damaging to the body and are known to cause cancer and aging. The more fried foods you consume the greater your risk of Diabetes, Heart Disease and Cancer. Fried foods also produce the cancer causing substance acrylamide. Many health experts agree that one French fry is worse for your health than one cigarette. In addition to fried foods try to avoid all products that contain: hydrogenated fats, partially hydrogenated fats, trans fats or vegetable oils as they have the same negative effect on your body.

Please note:  Good fats and oils are very necessary and are essential for optimal health and weight. However, it has to be healthy fats. Good fats to consume include: good quality fish oil, organic butter, extra virgin olive oil, virgin coconut oil, organic eggs, meats, nuts and seeds.
